I almost forgot: there were quite a few "first Bullseye event" competitors in the "Master Unclassified" category, so many that a grand prize was awarded in that category -- a Springfield Armory 1911 Mil-Spec. (I think five or six 1911s were awarded.)

We ran two nearly full relays so I'm guessing there was very close to 80 participants. And in the team events, we also had to shoot in relays -- I think the Army had three teams, the local club entered four, and eWorld also had four teams if I'm not mistaken, and then the Sunnyvale Club had a team as well so that's, what, a dozen teams at four per team. Where's my calculator?

Got mine from "As Seen On TV" dot COM -- http://www.asseenontv.com/ -- the only hassle is putting the darn thing on one arm without two more to "hold and fasten". But once secured to an arm, it hangs on real good to 1911s just fine. And strapped to a thigh, it'd be just the thing for a lady's under-skirt carry, too.
Boy, you'd think those TV sales guys would pick up on the concealed and open carry market for these.
What an idea!

It reminds me of fond memories. Back in the day when my boys were in middle school, one in particular loved to play “MacGyver.” … Got to hand it to Santa, it’s almost as cool as a Bat Utility Belt.

So, can I get one for me at Midway?

I shot Steve's iron sight 22 in an NMC. Firstbshot was off the paper but, thereafter, they were all in the repair center. It always amazes me how subtle you have to be in this sport. Hoping to get to the range(s) more often - I miss the people (and the X ring). :)
