Well, it would certainly take a long time to make enough for a 2700 this way but, then again, the video below has an undeniable appeal for the do-it-yourself types.

This is very interesting, but it would take a LONG time to make even 50. There must be a better way. I should ask my chemical engineer son in law to come up with a plan.

Yes making primers with match heads is a very slow process, the way I have done it, but I have some freinds who are working on ways to speed it up. One involves a "primer plate" with holes for as many primers as you wish to fill at a time. You spread the match powder on the plate put the top on it, then press it with an arbor press.
