The Men’s 50m Free Pistol competition starts today, May 31st and runs through Saturday, June 2nd.
Pictured here are John Zurek and Jim Henderson who will be competing for the sole 50m Free Pistol spot, and Daryl Szarenski who is already on the US Olympic Team for Air Pistol.
In this picture, these three gentlemen were in good company with Steve Reiter who, while not competing to be on the US Olympic Team in 2012, is nonetheless a top pistol competitor having won the NRA National Pistol Championships in 1991, 1993, 1994, 1999 and 2000 as well as numerous other awards in the years before and after.
