Speaking in 1962, President John F. Kennedy explained why America should go to the moon. He said, “We choose to go to the moon in this decade and do the other things. Not because they are easy, but because they are hard.”
If you shoot Bullseye, no doubt you’ve probably met some of the world’s best. Our sport lets newcomers and world class High Masters mix and get to know each other shoulder to shoulder and face to face. I know of no other sport that can make that claim.
And what you will learn from the world’s best is that they work hard at everything, including Bullseye. They are honest, sincere, have solid convictions and firm beliefs. And they know that nothing worthwhile comes easy.
Every person who has shot more than one Bullseye match knows that if you work hard, you can do it. It may not be easy, but it can be done. They know because they’ve done it, and they are continuing to do it a little better each time.
If you believe that hard work pays off, then you have the mindset for Bullseye, not because it is easy, but because it is hard.
