  1. Ed, you haven’t posted anything on Bullseye pistol since 2015.
Are you still shooting Bullseye? I check in with your blog because I too am into
both Bullseye and Ham Radio. With the demise of Tony’s blog we are bereft.
If you write it we will come read it.

    • Hi Richard and thanks for the wake-up call.
Yeah, I’ve been busy with other things. (I don’t think I’ve cleaned my guns since I fired them a couple of years ago.)
But I keep up my club membership and follow what’s happening at Camp Perry and other places. I’m hopeful to resume shooting but, other than “someday,” I can’t say when that might be.
Sure would like to go to the Nationals again…

      • The cancer is past now. I’m on to bigger and better; writing and getting a novel published is, I am learning, a considerable effort, and a significant learning experience. Like getting to the next level in Bullseye, it takes practice, practice, practice. And at the top (major publisher) level, it also takes talent and luck. I’m doing the practice with some good coaches. Luck happens when it happens. The talent? Well, I guess we’ll just have to wait and see it “the book” makes it or not. But sitting at the keyboard, I’m shootin’ for Xs!

    • (Continued) I’m on to bigger and better things for the time being, namely writing and getting a novel published. It is, I am learning, a considerable effort, and a significant learning experience. Like getting to the next level in Bullseye, writing a good story takes practice, practice, practice. And at the top level where the major book publishers hang out, it also takes talent and luck. I’m doing the writing practice with some good coaches and making good progress. (I’m much less bad than I used to be.) Luck, on the other hand, happens when it happens. The talent? Well, I guess we’ll just have to wait and see. Regardless, sitting at the keyboard, I’m shootin’ for the Bullseye of literature!
